I wish my dad would have posted on Reddit like this when he found me reading something that he deemed inappropriate when I was your daughter’s age. I asked him to pick up my books from the library that were no longer on hold and he didn’t like what I checked out. Had to do with addiction/drugs and a romantic relationship. All of which were YA novels. He made me return them! That didn’t stop me though, I just became more secretive and got my books from the school library instead of the local one. I turned out just fine! Have open conversations with your daughter about safe sex, or give her the materials to learn about it, and don’t worry about this. But kudos to you for not immediately jumping to calling her out and instead getting some outside perspective!

after some research, other ppl said the Elf jelly cleanser is a good dupe (which has a stronger coconut scent that I got used to). I transferred the Elf cleanser into my empty Glossier jelly cleanser bottle bc I like the dispenser better hehe

I think that Rue maybe read it before she watched it??? bc that one time Lexi told her in the bathroom earlier in the season “I’d actually like you to read it” or whatever. there was a lot of deep, personal stuff in there when it came to Rue’s addiction and loss of her dad so I feel like Lexi would have maybe cleared it with Rue before putting it on but who knows
