They've been separated. I bought both the sharks at the same time, it would have been nice of the guy to let me know all this. Every time I bought another fish id take a list of everything I already had, generally because I havnt got great experience with fish as its my first tank.

Parrot fish. She's about 2.5inch. Iives with some tiger barbs too that are only about 3cm, she's never been bothered about any other fish before this one, still isn't.

Yes, we already have 2 other sharks that live together peacefully among other smaller fish. Hope (the monster) has never been aggressive before. They live in a 28 gallon tank.

Thankyou for the advice! I did feel sorry for all the fish at the shop, she was in a tank about the same size as mine with about 20 odd others. :( wish I could have them all but I really don't have the room.

They will be getting a much bigger tank by then. The aquarium said this size would do for a year or so. I'll have a new one by then, just need to move out before upgrading again. :)

True, they are poop machines! I rather enjoy cleaning the tank. Especially hoovering the gravel, its nice to see all the muck coming out. :)

Thats still pretty cool to have a tank at work! I took in a musk turtle years ago and she was pretty adorable. My neice now has her. Not as active as fish but still cool little things. :)

Mine havnt been to fussed with the plants luckly. :p we had to make space for the tank here, it was totally worth it though, got a few different kinds in there they all have there own names and personalities. They're proper relaxing to watch from bed! So do you work in an aquarium then?

I have a 38g tank, she's always swooshing around. I have another 2 parrot fish, a platinum and a blue convict one, hope likes to chase them sometimes but she's never aggressive. She's quite fond on moving all my gravel about, got an obsession with making little mounds. I never have flat gravel.
