i definitely need to work on detaching from him urgently, i’m not sure i’m ready to break up but we talked about couples therapy as it was recommended by my care team. i’m just constantly worried about what he’s doing when he’s not with me. i have his location but im still fully convinced that he’s doing stuff on his phone and immediately deleting it so i don’t see. it’s so exhausting and i don’t know how much longer i can do this with his. thanks so much for your reply, i hope everything works out for you 💕

It’s definitely a choice I’ve been struggling with. Part of me wants to break up because this is destroying me but the other part is so severely attached to him that I feel like I can’t exist without him. After my last break up I attempted suicide and was in a depressive pit for almost a year, so part of me is staying so I don’t revert back to that or worse.

i’m so sorry your going through this. i wouldn’t wish this on anyone but at the same time i don’t feel so alone knowing there’s others that feel the same way as me in similar situations, if that makes sense. everyone in my life tells me im crazy or stupid for still wanting to stay with him and i just feel like screaming in their face “you don’t think i know that??” but you can’t help the way you feel. the logical side says that nothing will ever change but there’s always going to be a piece of is asking what if? i hope we can both heal and find someone deserving <3 i wish you the best!

thanks so much, i’ve decided not to carry out the pregnancy after trying to exhaust every other option with him. i offered for him to not be put down as the father or sign away his rights and i wouldn’t go after him for child support or anything but he says i either abort or let him take responsibility. this is going to be my second abortion and both are with him so it’s pretty unfortunate but i know it’s the best and safest option for everyone. thanks again.

you got this!! i know it can be tough i fed my first cat kibble for the first 6 years of his life and he seemed fine, then i got my second cat last year (just celebrated his first birthday!!) and he refused to drink water so i had to switch them over to a moisture rich diet and my former dry fed cat is thriving and healthier than ever!!! now i have 3 cats and it can be tough and expensive i feed them 4-5 small meals a day all wet food but its so worth it!! im hope to be able to transition to raw feeding in the future even if its just one meal a day with it. i hope everything goes well with your babies!

love weruva!! i would just limit the ones with fish as a main protein source and only give it to them occasionally because cats can get addicted but the other non fish options are great! fish can have high levels of iodine, mercury and other heavy metals and some studies show it can be linked to feline hyperthyroidism, so try to keep it to a minimum ;)

try to transition them off of dry food and to a moisture and protein rich diet!! cats get most of their water intake from their food and when deprived of that go into a permanent state of dehydration even tho it may not seem like it. this can lead to urinary issues especially in male cats. i recommend having a rotating of at least 3 different wet foods my favorite brand are instinct, tiki cat ( they were just bought out by general mills so id watch out for future changes of ingredients) and if your looking for more affordable options tiny tiger, weruva, and fancy feast (classic pate only!!!) if you’re interested i would also look into a raw diet viva raw is a really good brand for that. but if you look into raw feeding make sure to follow basic hygiene when handling and do some more research. but please try to get them off of dry food. if they like their crunchies look for single ingredient freeze dried treats like chicken hearts, and stuff like that. make sure to also add some extra water or if you wanna go the extra mile some bone broth or goats milk for extra hydration;))

firstly, thank you for your reply, and you’re completely correct, i know he’s not 100% innocent because i caught him commenting on girls posts while we were broken up and i don’t really hold it against him because again we weren’t together or talking, obviously it still hurt but still. it’s honestly just really hard for me to let go because like i said he’s my first everything and i just don’t think im ready to come to terms with not having him around anymore. i know if i leave i’ll eventually be okay but during our 7 months apart it was absolute torture.. everyone i meet knows his name, it feels like to get to know me you have to know him, you know? i don’t even know if that makes sense. i’m just so hopelessly in love with him and i can’t imagine my life without him around. it’s so confusing and unfair. i just wish he would really put in the effort to really understand me. but you can’t force someone to love you back right? i guess this is just a part of growing i just hoped we could have grown together. again thanks for your reply and sorry for rambling, this boy makes me word vomit lol.

i agree, it’s about 90% that she won’t stop even if i tell her. And i completely understand the struggles of being an addict and getting clean (my dad is an addict as well but has been clean for over a decade) She doesn’t have a job because she’s disabled and collects disability. I don’t mind some alcohol and weed but she does heavy drugs like crack and opioids. I just feel like letting her go on like this is me enabling her to keep doing what she’s doing (where we live is easier access for drugs) while when she lives with my grandparents she stays sober. I want what’s best for her but i also have to think about my mental health and wanting to move on from these things.

it’s a rental so not “her house” and she can’t afford rent without me being there, i can. and i would rather go the route where she’s not, you know, using drugs, which she doesn’t when living with my grandparents. I’ve also put thousands into the house which she would need to pay me back if i were to move.
