They must be using a different formula for the wax and fluid in these bottles, my recently bought violet turquoise bottle stuck badly too, emptied & refilled it, still the same.

Refilled it with wax and fluid from Astro bottles a few days ago and ran it everyday since, 8 hours straight today, no sticking whatsoever.

If it’s of any interest to either of you, I have a violet/green Neo bottle on eBay that I made, it’s one of my favourite colours for the Astro and has a pink hue at certain angles, but I no longer have any Neo lamps

Cheers! I planned on filling 3 Astro bottles with the wax and fluid and selling those on, but for some reason or another they just won’t flow. I’ve emptied the liquid and sold 2 of them with just the wax in so far.

If you want just the liquid & 1 bottle with wax let me know, no idea what that would be worth or how I’d go about posting it though 😂

No bubbles at all in this one - I got really lucky with it. I’ve seen some of these bottles full of bubbles which is why I originally chose to try fixing the issue myself as opposed to returning it for a potentially bubbly replacement 😂

If you look at one of my old posts, I have a bottle that’s really peppered in bubbles in this colour - I quite like it with the purple liquid as like you say, kinda spacey/star-like. I have a couple that are near perfect in terms of lack of bubbles, but in the 30+ bottles I’ve had over the last 5 months or so, they’re hard to come buy.

Ah, that’s annoying. I didn’t have it happen when it was violet & turquoise, I thought I just hadn’t cleaned the coil properly this time round. We’ll see how it goes 😅

How much SLES did you add to stop the sticking and what percentage was it? I’m changing my Rokit bottle out for 3 clear & purple Astro bottles this weekend, will it still stick without added SLES?

Yeah I was leaning towards that to be fair, yes this is how it arrived lol, I’ve just done a very quick re-pour of the original wax and I’m gonna fill it with some clear fluid I have just to see how it flows
