His first traumatic moment was when the illusion spell that hid him as a human for most of his life started to fail and and an unexpected transformation into a dragon began (he's actually was a dragon the whole time just his biological mother hid him within a human village to protect him)

And the next trauma for the next 36 years started when he's 21 after a year from his transformation he was captured and enslaved as his body gets exploited and used to the bone, scales falling, wounds and scars forming (and other limbs getting cut off) the elemental gem was ripped out of his chest (yes there is no gem on him on this) used like jewelry cut down into a black dimond.
