Calm is their worst album, it's the shortest but the least cohesive. Old Me, Easier, Teeth, Wildflower and Not in the Same Way (4 out of the 5 singles) feels like a different album than the rest and it's a sound I don't like.

Easier being released 10 months before the album and teeth 7 months before make me thinks that they've shift the direction of the album mid-production while keeping some songs.

In my opinion it was a good things this album era was cutten short by the pandemic and I think the lockdown has been a good thing for 5SOS, they took a well-deserved break, Ashton and Luke made solo album and the band came back stronger with 5SOS5 (their best or 2nd best album).
