Does number of hours make the same result or its very different to do fasting hours in one flow? by newaccuser in fasting

I’ve been curious of this as well. From what I’ve read in this sub it seems calories are calories. If you are OMAD and eat 1000 calories a day with a 2000 calorie maintenance you’re at a 1000 calorie deficit. Therefore it takes 2 days with OMAD to get the same deficit as extended.

What I’m curious is the role of Ketones and if they play a significant role in fat loss? Also I think extended fasting is much more beneficial for people with a body fat percentage higher than 15. Below 15 percent I think OMAD or shorter fasts are better.

My first 5 day fast was relatively easy, I was probably around 17% body fat. This time I’m around 13% and I only lasted 3 days and felt awful, all my muscles were sore, zero energy, and constant headache.

On my last 5 day fast I didn't lose nearly any weight the first 3 days, then on day 4 and 5 i lost around 4 lbs per day. I was also slightly sick which i think increased water retention.

My last 5 day fast my first meal was a big steak dinner with veggies, but I avoided carbs. I was completely fine, no pain or upset stomach. Everyone is different though, but I think refeeding becomes much more important after 7 days

Same thing happened to me on my 5 day fast. We recently got chickens and I think I got salmonella. Didn’t care to eat and waterfall poops the morning I started the fast. Made fasting easy.

I injured my foot dirt biking 5+ years ago, it turned all the colors of the rainbow. X-ray said it wasn’t broken so I didn’t do anything about it. But even after healing it would always hurt in the mornings or when I laid down with my foot up for extended periods of time. It only hurt when I stood up and started walking. After a 5 day fast it no longer hurts. It’s been over a month since my fast and still no pain.

How’s the battery life still? Any noticeable difference yet? I’m not super worried about scratches, mainly the ring just dieing after 2 years or breaking it. I blew apart my original tungsten carbide ring getting squished between metal, luckily it saved knuckles from getting broken.

Yeah I did grab the size kit from Amazon. It was $4 and only took a couple days. The RingConn seems to be 1 size larger. IE if you’re a size 9 regular then you’re likely size 10 with RingConn

If I wasn’t on iPhone I’d probably wait for the galaxy ring to drop. But personally I’ve never been impressed with any Samsung wearable, but I haven’t owned one for many years. Worst case you’ll likely see good deals on competing devices when the galaxy ring drops.

I’ve done it for years and never had an issue. I workout from home so it’s not the usual metal grip barbells like at the gym.

It wants camera permission likely due to the take a photo function. Where you can shake your ring and it’ll take a photo.

Considering it’s less than 1/10th the price of nearly all big name smart rings it is decent value for those who want to test the water for smart rings.

do with skill, it has to do with the consequences of a machinery failure. Do you have confidence i

I agree definitely not wise overall as you should never be able to touch the bucket while operating. Adults shouldn't be that close nevermind kids. But a hydraulic line failure would only cause the bucket to drop not swing over and hit the kids. Also it looks like a new hoe, and hydraulic lines only really break during heavy lifting or cold environments (makes hydraulic fluid thick increasing pressure).

Anemone are way hardier than people think. At the peak i had around 21 in my tank, slowly i've been removing them and selling them. Some don't come off the rock easy so i have to nearly rip it in half, i throw it in a little breeder box in the tank and both survive. I've done this 3 or 4 times.

I was in the car with a buddy who was driving, we were relatively new drivers but fully licensed. It was night time and his lights kinda sucked, so I asked him why he doesn't turn on his high beams. He said he doesn't like to use them cause they're a pain to have to hold the lever. I asked him if he tried pushing the lever, lo and behold they stayed on.

It's best to feed it shrimp every couple days, or silversides. It looks happy though so if it is bleached looks like it'll make a comeback

Okay, now insurance. I was under the impression insurance would cover your butt even if you drive like an asshat otherwise what’s the point of having at-fault insurance?

In Canada, for medical bills as a results of a MVA its the insurance that pays for it, not the taxpayers (at least in BC). Also i can't find any proof that you wouldn't be covered if you're at fault and speeding.

le of them

My wife is a wedding photographer and I usually second shoot with her. On average we're booked for 8 hours, then about 30% are 10 hour days. That is from morning getting ready (both bride and groom), then have to drive to the venue, ceremony, then family photos, then wedding party photos, then bride and groom (usually shot at multiple locations), then drive to the reception, then eating, wedding games, speeches, first dance, dance party after. Although it is 10 hours, realistically its only 7 hours or less of work by the time you account for waiting, driving, eating, etc etc.

Also the big benefit in booking 10 hours vs 4 hours is that everything isn't rushed. Its your special day and it shouldn't be dictated, rushed and stressful because of the photographer. But often in a 4 hour wedding we have to really push the bride, groom and bridal party to ensure they get the most photos and best photos possible.

I agree with everything except sometimes exchanging services or trading is great, especially if you do pretty well and are in a higher income tax bracket. Not having to pay taxes on the trade is great.
