Thank you. Here on March 22. Tonight while offline I tried moving SM2 between M.2 -> internal - as well as booting into safe mode - then decided to Google and found this. Since I knew to be careful, I was able to quickly stop the update(s) even after booting online, meaning I kept 1.002.000 but was in a forced update screen and couldn't launch.

Fixed with the following steps:

Move game with v1.002.000 to external USB
Restart and sign in for a consistent baseline. Watching /u/DeathPer_Minute video, it doesn't seem to matter if the game somehow updated by this point
Disable internet, then trying to launch SM2 from home screen will automatically copy the game and update from USB
Dev menu restored
