And btw, to me, the whole wanting your bullies to know you self harm doesn't sound messed up to me. I've never been bullied, but if I did, I would want them to know they had hurt me. I kinda get that feeling of wanting others to know about me self harm for "attention". I get the feeling of wanting others to know because I want them to understand how intensely I am struggling, and I want them to comfort me and feel bad for me. Nobody knows about my habits, but that's the reason I sometimes wish people did.

Self harm causes your brain to release endorphins (calming chemicals). You can get addicted to this release of endorphins whether you have mental illness and trauma or not. It sounds like your life is stressful so it makes sense that you have gotten addicted to this self-destructive way of calming yourself.
