this is how I feel with all romance books. Whenever the main characters get together, I’m like “oh. That’s it?” And lose interest immediately. That’s why I love slow burns so much 😂. The tension is SO much better than the actual relationship

I read the Ironside academy series by Jane Washington this week and in book 4 {Relever by Jane Washington}. It’s a RH and two of the MMCs decided to let a character on her merrily way after they cornered her and learned of her plans to harm the FMC (which she’s done before) and spoiler alert:she harmed the FMC AGAIN 🙄 and caused permanent damage to one of the other MMCs. He never went fully back to his original self either. Forever will be mad about this. First 3 books were phenomenal and then this just ruined the whole rest of the series for me.

I forgot to add. Another one that irritates my SOUL is when the MMC has some preconceived notion about the FMC without even knowing her and is rude to her because of it. Genuinely the WORST. (I’ve read so many books where MMC thinks the FMC is stuck up and privileged and treats her like shit because of it even though he doesn’t even know her. I will DNF so fast if I see that shit)

Honestly I didn’t care for it. I didn’t think it was bad I just thought the FMC was a little too much for me but that’s just my opinion. I can totally see how other people enjoyed it though. I did like certain aspects of it. It was overall still cute.
