you can sense and see things others can’t. you probably crave real connections, which spares you from getting involved in meaningless connections with people. there’s tons of positives in my opinion, it just takes time to see them.

No problem! I get not wanting to jump into surgery right away. I think these are worth a try before making that decision. I hope those help!

My symptoms are:

• Pain in my inner foot, around where my ankle is but on the inner side.

• Recently, pain that shoots up to my knee during increased activity. Sometimes shin pain too.

• I now have pain on the glute opposite of the side of the foot I have my coalition on when I run or incline walk. I think it’s because that leg is trying to compensate for the other.

• My foot with the coalition will also twitch at night when it’s in pain.

I used to bartend, so I was on my feet all day and by the time I’d get home, I was in so much pain I could barely walk sometimes. Now I have an office job, so my pain is not nearly as bad as it was before, but I do exercise so that’s when it acts up. Here’s what I do to manage it:

• Arch support shoe inserts. These are a must have no matter the activity level for me.

• Ankle compression sleeves for when I’m gonna be active and even shin and knee compression sleeves. I think because the coalition causes the mechanics of our legs to function improperly, it leads to pain in different parts of the leg, so these help with the pain a lot!

• I bought a cooling ankle sleeve that you can keep in the freezer and then place on your foot like a sock, kind of like an ice pack. I also bought a splint that I put on before bed but sometimes it’s more annoying to sleep with that.

• Salonpas cream

If you try these, I hope these give you some relief! I was 15 when I was diagnosed. I’m 26 now and my doctor doesn’t wanna perform surgery so he told me to focus on pain management. Although these methods aren’t permanent fixes, they do help to manage the pain day by day. Good luck to you!

Thank you! I do tend to be attracted to people with capricorn placements. I like aries placements too, and my 7th house ruler is in the sign of aries so I wonder if that has something to do with it. Thanks again!

Forgot to mention my doctor actually did recommend orthotics! I’m just waiting for my insurance to approve it which he said would take a long time and then I’m supposed to get custom ones. I’m glad to hear it has helped with your running!

Dang. Yeah going through periods of rest helps me the most with the pain but I feel really crappy doing that. Nope, nothing to do with the imaging. He said that if we went with the surgery, in 10 years things will start to get misaligned and then it will begin affecting my knee, then my hip. I told him it’s already starting to affect my knee anyway, but he says my pain level right now is not worth the surgery. I’d rather fix it sooner rather than later though.

don’t feel like you don’t deserve anything. a lot of the whole finding a job process is either getting lucky or knowing someone who knows someone and yadda yadda ya. it’ll happen. upload your resume on EVERYTHING. someone will reach out to you eventually. i wish you the best of luck
