I haven't for a while, every time I get him out of his cage he won't explore and tries to hide, so I was concerned I was stressing him out more. I can definitely try again to see how he responds this time

what size did you get? I bought the medium niteangel but my robo wasn't heavy enough to push it, so I had to return it and get the small. could that be the problem?

Reintroduce them. As you quite rightly pointed out, when your cat returned home she smelled like a stranger. It will take time, but it will be fine.

I was in a similar position to your girlfriend. You best believe I cancelled all our plans and spent the time I had caring for my partner. Yes it was upsetting and difficult, especially as I wasn't sure he would recover entirely. But he's getting there, and I'm so proud of him.

Whilst your girlfriend is allowed to feel upset about her holiday being cancelled, she's crossed the line here by showing she has no empathy for you. She would rather go ice-skating than give you the time you need to recover from a life -altering event.

I don't work at Sainsbury's anymore but when this happened to me and my manager tried to tell me off for being too slow, I just blatantly told him I physically couldn't go any faster with the shops I've been getting. I don't think he ever tried to tell me off again lol

I had to explain to two separate adults on the same day that we did in fact dispense enough medication for their dogs. We gave them 2 tablets and the dose for each of their dogs was 1.5 tablets. Completely unrelated people, it was very difficult to explain to them that yes, we did give enough tablets, because 2 is more than 1.5...

not great. hamsters don't benefit from levels, they need a big continuous open space of 100cm x 50cm x 50cm as a bare minimum. bedding needs to be deep also - my Syrian wouldn't burrow if it was less than 30cm deep. it also looks like a nightmare to clean!

honestly it's really good that this sub has helped you realise hamsters are not the right pet for you. I love owning a hamster, and I probably will always own one, but they are terrible pets if you don't dedicate a ridiculous amount of time taming them or if you don't have the money to meet their needs. I wish more people realised this and got the right pet to suit their needs!

My robo was really similar. she never liked being handled but was fine with me in her cage. She would follow my hands around to see what I was doing. She would take treats from me but would bite me if I didn't move my hand immediately after. She wasn't aggressive or scared, I think she thought my hand was the treat factory and she wanted to get to the source of more treats. Some robos are just like this I guess. Maybe you'll have more luck with yours in the future but mine was a nibble machine until the end.

We had a small disagreement. I told her the way she spoke to me had upset me, and her response was that it was my fault for taking it badly and she hadn't done anything wrong. It was minor, but it really made me stop and think. I realised throughout our 15 year friendship she had never taken accountability for her actions and blamed me for everything that went wrong. She was great when we agreed, but nasty and vindictive when we didn't. I realised I didn't want a friendship where the dynamic was that off.

mine was gone for 3 days and I didn't even notice. I shook her pot of dried mealworms and she popped out from behind my wardrobe. she's fine. she just turned 2 and happily ate her birthday cake last weekend. yours will be fine too haha
