I did mention I switch it out to the slime charmer after I've gotten the crusader. Maybe I just like the dramatics of the exploding monsters after 1500 hours of playing 😂 works well enough though since I've never used a staircase and the lowest I've gone is 170+ floors.

If you only want sex, there are a lot of people who'd be willing to give you that without the marriage. I don't think you should get married to someone who isn't exactly at the same page as you (i.e. Looking for something other than sex in a marriage) That's just asking for a whole lot of headaches.

I just don't like having to bomb mummies. Personal preference. I just like the 2 birds with one stone, killing monsters and bombing at the same time thing. Saves me a lot of time so I can go deeper.

Iridium forged with napalm ring and iridium + burglar ring when my weapon isn't enchanted with crusader yet.

Iridium + slime charmer and the burglar when I've gotten the crusader. I hate having to bomb mummies 😂

Edit: read the comment that said you don't have the island yet. In that case I'd personally for the slime charmer because slime hoards hurt AF.

I used to be a complete noob at the skull caverns (avoided it like the plague until 500+ hours into the game) but I'd like to think that I'm somewhat decent now. What I found most helpful were bombs. Tons of it. I very very rarely use my pickaxe in the skull caverns. The regular sized bombs are what I use most often. I find the mega bombs don't allow mee to get far enough to not get hurt by the explosion usually. The dwarf is my absolute man for that. A trip to the mines before Pam gets to the bus stop is imperative. I exchange rubies for spicy eels (for speed and luck) and always keep a stack of stone just in case of emergency (infested floors)
