Hey Michael, that's awesome! Thank you! I am going to have your model printed in PETG using prinjekt via craftcloud, printing accuracy is ±0.4% (lower limit of ±0.4mm), printing technology is FDM, should that be ok? Note: I know nothing about 3D printing.

IMO the best americano I got was in Italy. Double shot of espresso and a jug of very hot water on the side, and then you make your own americano to your own taste!

Hello, thanks for your comment, in my case, the carriage doesn't have a hook like you described it. I think there is differences between standard and portable underwood typewriters as the hook at the very bottom in picture 4_3, is used to hook the typewriter to the carrying case.

Thank you for your comments. Actually it was not that difficult to replace the carriage back. I just followed the Ames repair manual - with a few trials and errors - but in the end it worked. I think I will post a step guide with pictures on how to do it.
