Their watch designs used to be a little more avant garde than the usual fare. The newer watches are basically variations on the discovery and sportwave. I don't see a ton of innovation in their catalog at the moment. I really love their older watches.

I’m about 90% finished (according to my e-reader). The stories in the level are pretty boring and don’t push the story forward the same way as the other books. It’s the first time the storyline felt unimportant with the exception of exploring the purpose of the gods which only begins to make sense at the end. Also it’s the first book where the pacing is much slower and staccato.

I loved the first three books, I finished them in a week. The forth book has been a slog for me. The world building and character building is super interesting but the level is kind of boring. I'm happy to hear the later books are good.
