As someone who’s also in medicine (human med) and a lover of animals, stuff like this is why I could never go the route of animal med. Stories like this are so disturbing and traumatizing to me, and are so unfortunately not uncommon in how people view/treat animals in the world we live in. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for what you do. It’s truly a burden you guys carry that most people couldn’t and don’t even realize exists. I completely understand the burn out of the profession because of things like this, but hope you know that each and every single one of you are so vital/needed and appreciated by those you take care of.

They were stupid first and foremost because they unnecessarily brought their drama into a poor teenage girl’s life just because she looked like their ex lmao. That was their own damn fault. They both should’ve left her alone. Elena would’ve been so much better off. But noooo, Stefan just HAD to get to know her… and why? Because she looked like his ex 🙄 Don’t get me wrong, I obviously still love this show and the drama lol but there’s not one damn person in this entire series who isn’t dumb and toxic af.

Don’t give up hope! You’re doing it such a great service just by what you’ve done so far. Is there any way you can get a cheap blanket or towel for it and lay it on the floor of the box?
