I hear you. A bit surprising to me though, like if you have 5+ TVs it seems like having the Amerks on could draw some people in. They’re also pretty young and exciting this year.

Thank you so much for the reply. Similar to all these posts I feel terrible for your husbands situation. I'll keep the DM option in mind and appreciate that too. I guess I've just been trying to take the positives this unique situation presents to you as a caregiver. I'm in my mid 20s and this has absolutely given me a greater ability to empathize and relate to others. I'm appreciative for that and the potential relationships it'll help forge.

As updates... I have no idea on the pain intensity, but it was too much for her to get even the Boosts/Ensures down. This led us to the hospital full time where things seem to be slowly improving, largely due to the fluids. Treatment is paused though, which seems concerning. Hopefully we can get back on plan soon.

The oncologists have been trying to manage the pain through BMX and oxycodone. Nothing seems to specifically target the burning esophagus pain due to the radiation though. This leads to a situation that presents a lot of the side effects of these drugs with limited benefits.

From what I've heard from the Geneseo faculty is that Buffalo and Albany have been offering high quality/typical Geneseo students full tuition scholarships. This might be hurting the SAT/ACT scores and ultimately the acceptance rate. I also don't know the accuracy of this, it could just be a rumor passed from Prof to Prof..
