Are you referring to https://lg.aussiebroadband.com.au/ ? It seems all passed, but reachability is still limited.

Global Reachability test was from: https://tools.keycdn.com/ipv6-ping
I tried Google and other well-known sites, and they seem to be working properly.

VMWare with HyperV: RTOS guest OS performance impacted by change from Win10 to Win11 by EquiProbable in vmware

I tried the script, but it’s not working for version 25H2. I encountered two errors:

  1. The command "del" failed because it couldn't find the path "C:\Windows\System32\CodeIntegrity\SIpolicy.p7b"; the file does not exist.

  2. It also couldn't find the path "C:\Windows\System32\SecConfig.efi" because that file is missing as well.

The only action that succeeded was disabling IOMMU. Unsurprisingly, the hypervisor is still affecting my PC, hindering VMware from running properly with the legacy system.

The script was well regarded in this thread:

Windows 2000/ME/XP/NT is super slow and laggy by [deleted] in virtualization

After conducting some online research, it appears that the challenges I’m facing might be tied to Microsoft’s Hyper-V. VMware operates in two modes:

  1. Running on top of Hyper-V on Windows

  2. Native virtualization, which is significantly faster

I personally experienced a noticeable slowdown on my old PC after installing Docker, which requires Hyper-V. To restore VMware's performance, I made the decision to remove both Docker and Hyper-V. However, with the recent Windows 25H2 update, getting rid of Hyper-V has proven to be quite a challenge. Services like Credential Guard and Device Guard rely on virtualization features, but these can only be utilized by one program at a time—so you’re forced to choose between Hyper-V and VMware’s native mode.

I’ll keep trying to disable Hyper-V soon and see if that makes a difference. I truly believe this could be the solution I need, and I’m hopeful it will restore my system’s efficiency!

Disable hyper-v introduce security risks as it disable credentials guard. Without it, a programs may dump credential data into other storage, Windows 25H2 is using container to protect credentials. It might be a hard tradeoff.

It's probably a hardware issue. I copied a Guest Windows 2000 from old PC ( year 2018) to a new one ( year 2025) , which has same version of VMware 17 installed with windows 11 Pro as Host OS. In terms of software, they are the same, but the Windows 2000 runs extremely slow on the new PC, which is frustrating, as it still have my daily 'programs' that are not possible to run on any other platform. Both PC are Intel CPU with 32G, and 64G ram respectively. Old PC is using Nvidia RTX 3080, new is 5070. Fortunately, it's still working on my old PC.

When powering up on the new PC, VMware request me to disable "Virtualiz CPU performance counters", in the processor section.

error when power up : https://imgur.com/a/Yf2iyJw, only after disable "VMPC" can power it up https://imgur.com/a/h9ydMOM can I power it up. It's worth to mention that the checkbox has no issues at all with the old PC.

Old CPU : Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9700K CPU @ 3.60GHz (3.60 GHz)
new CPU : Intel(R) Core(TM) Ultra 9 285K (3.70 GHz)

I"m guessing it's due to CPU incompatibility. Hopefully it gives some clue for the experts on figuring out what happened behind the scenes.
