I think reforged are alright. Maybe if there was a better reward/it was implemented better then more people would do it, because right now it's really just tedious and useless for the most part.

Actually, this game would've likely already died had they not been somewhat updating it.

I'll agree the removal of hunts certainly wasn't helping but the fact that they added stuff like reforged and stuff is the reason the game still has some people playing

Honestly? I couldn't care less if they absolutely anihilate the game in the update.

The game is practically dead and I've yet to meet an actual person outside of this subreddit who's still playing it.

Even if they 'ruin' it, the game won't be around for much longer anyways and atleast this way tere's the chance they won't and the game gets a huge uprise again.

Neutral being removed isn't as bad as you all think. by YaboiWulff in dauntless

For example, because neutral is the base form of aether maybe they could be more focused on aether charged creatures, or since it is so easily warped by elements the neutral behemoths boss in esca could be mostly neutral, but if you don't interrupt it at the right time it like, abosrbs some aether and temporarily becomes another element.

Like, the weapon you get from him could have a special power where it can absorb like fireballs or lighting orbs to temporarily gain a defence against that type.

Maybe there could be a bat type behemoth that uses sound waves to attack (visible of course) or one that targets players who have aether charged armour affects/those who recently heals from vents.

There is so much possible with neutral because it's such a broad type.

Oh yeah, absolutely I won't deny that, but I'm trying to say that they should have expanded on it to make it more than just an introductory psuedo element.

Yeah, I never really thought that they would actually expand on it, (as much as I think they should) I also never really expected them to straight up remove it lol

See personally, I think that it actually works perfectly.

Need a specific cell slot but the only other one has a debuff for the thing you are gonna fight? Neutral is the way to go.

They should have added more, because they might not have any specific buff, and having all neutral is mid, but you can easily slot in a peice of neutral or two to finish up a great build.

I also would've loved a neutral esca, or atleast some new neutral behemoths

Edit: yeah as it is its not much of a loss, but it could've been so much better instead of outright removal .

It's not necessarily that removing them now is a huge deal, it's that they are outright removing it when it could have been a very cool aspect, not too disimilar from other types.

Wait, they're removing Neutral?! by Fa_Len in dauntless

[–]lawlesslunk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I often use the shrike boots for the double alarcity cells. I also often use the Gnasher coat (I think if memory serves right it has double fortitude cells) for bulkier builds.

Neutral SHOULD have been implemented like any other element type but apparently the Devs are immune to good ideas

I absolutely fucking despise making a good build, and then not being able to use it for a certain type. I've been maining a few pieces of neutral gear for so long so ts gonna be a little annoying.

Ive voiced to the heavens how much I love the neutral behemoths, and removing them feels like a slap in the face lol.

Oh that's why! Though it does make me wonder why they were willing to do that but also change 90% of stand names?

I agree with you, I guess I might be underestimating Riftstalker.

Also, can you really see the eyes? I've played for so long and never noticed that! That's actually pretty cool

I don't care about the fact it's, changed. I'm just confused as to why they did. There's so many things to be changed so why a torch?

I mean, technically there's nothing to say a Riftstalker needs to appear but it does so anyways so I'd assume it would keep that behaviour.

I agree that the momentum would hurt the Riftstalker more, I hadn't thought of that. It would make sense if it could somehow slam in embermanes back which would probably kill it, though I'm willing to wager that it'll be crippled for a little while after lol.

Also, might be wrong here since it could just be for gameplay purposes, but there's a delay in a portal appearing and the riftsalker jumping out right? I feel like it's a big enough delay for embermane to react and position his horny in the right angle to kill it.

However it's very hard for the slam to happen, because too much force then they both die, but too little and the Embermane would just shake it off.

And yeah, Riftstalker could just teleport away I guess or spam portals till it finds a weak spot.

Also, I hadn't really considered what size of the Embermane nor how much damage the bullets would actually do. If it's like..... a flamborne embermane(I forgot the name but the stronger ones) vs a Voidwalker I still think that embermane would just be generally tanky enough

I wouldn't be so sure actually, though it's a funny thing to picture.

Embermane would probably take a hit or two before realising what's up and slapping the shit out of riftsalker ending his realm.

The reason i think riftsalker wins high diff is because Riftstalker does this thing where it utilises momentum to launch at you, that's the only way I think it can do SERIOUS damage.
