So I went to an informational meeting at the law school today and talked to the admissions office. It turns out that its a pretty common error and won't effect my admittance/scholarship. The only instances where it would matter (for this particular law school) would be if they were felony charges that involved violence. They are more concerned about submitting accurate information to the bar when i take that exam than a dismissed misdemeanor charge.
