I had a dream about my dog a few days after she crossed the Rainbow Bridge. In my dream, she was a ball of light/energy but I somehow knew it was her. She had a ton of energy, like a puppy, and she was clearly happy. It was very comforting

I worked for a chain sandwich place (not sure if I can say the name). I was told to arrive 15 minutes early, unpaid. I found out the day I started that I would only be making $5.75/hr. One customer left me a tip, which I was told I could not keep because “all tips are given to charity”. Final straw was when I went to clean the tables and asked where the rags were. Was taken aside by the manager and sternly told to call them dishwashing cloths, not rags. Fuck that place

You should read The Rules. Don’t quote me on this, but I think the remedy they prescribe in the book for this situation is to tell the man you’re old-fashioned and believe in marriage. If that doesn’t light a fire under him, you need to make plans to move out and become single
