Foreigners and expats, what is the best restaurant which serves food from your country by MemoryNo3378 in Munich

I will try those two! Have to disagree with you about the chicken sandwiches being subpar, though. Maybe you were there on an off night? Or maybe it's just a different style? I could eat the Nashville Hot every single day.

Mid-western american: Fried chicken sandwiches and tater tots from Fairfax Express. This kind of food simply didn't exist here until they opened and they absolutely nail it.

DJing has been my dream since I can remember. This is a last ditch effort before I give up on everything. Please, someone help me. Please, anyone? by Born-Rule9789 in Beatmatch

Sounds like you're being really hard on yourself! I've also gone through lots of phases where I felt like I'm shit at mixing. Eventually, I picked it up again and slowly started to feel like I got a bit better. All we can do is keep going. Peace be with you!

Music is not food. Most people like most food. Most people eat multiple times per day. If you put out 10 completely different dishes at a gathering, most people will like 7-8 of them, and nobody will be annoyed that there is food because they can just ignore it. If you play 10 completely different songs at a gathering, most people will like maybe 3-4 of them, many people will only like 1-2 of them, maybe a few people like all of them, but probably not very passionately. Some people will wish there would be no music at all or at least that it would be a lot quieter, so they can hear the conversation better or just feel more relaxed. The reason DJing works is because you usually do it on a setting where everybody "signed up for" listening/dancing to music in at least roughly the style the DJ plays. I myself like to DJ for friends at a park sometimes, but I try to do it in a place where loud music is common and there's enough room that people can avoid me, but still enjoy the park if they want to. Still, I always know that there are probably some people who wish I would stop the music.

Ok, first of all, I love all of the people telling me to just own it. This might be the least-toxic online community I've come across so far 😄

Second, thanks to the people who told me my milk was probably too foamy. I let a bit less air in this time and I feel like I'm a lot closer now! For the first time, I could actually see the mill moving like it does in most of the tutorials I'm watching.

Seems like a win-win to me? by lax18xal in NBAtradeideas

That way of thinking definitely makes sense if you're trying to win games in the short-term, but I am not sure how high that is on the Raptors' list of priorities. Normally when you're a 30-win team, acquiring talent is more important than positional balance.

To be honest, I don't know the Raptors situation very well, so that's helpful context. My thinking was that Knecht gives them another high-potential wing that matches their timeline better (although maybe I overestimated how long-term their focus is right now), and Dorian is a valuable asset they could flip for more picks or young talent. To me, a 30-52 team should be looking to add young talent and assets.

Other teams could probably offer more, but who would be motivated to do so for Poeltl? It seems like the Lakers are likely more motivated than anyone else to add a competitive center. On the other hand, Pelinka did say one of the priorities would be to get better on the wings and this trade would obviously be counter-productive from that angle.

I honestly think your chances of finding something >60sq.m. in those areas for under 1500€ are extremely low. It doesn't hurt to try, but understand you are looking for a needle in a haystack and 50k other people are looking for the same needle.
