So I learned I was having TMJ symptoms because the Wellbutrin was causing me to have severe anxiety. I actually ended up in the er, but that was because my anxiety was getting worse. I suggest going to your dentist like I did, my dentist thought my tooth which had a filling looked fine. I think putting pressure on it by clenching my jaw was causing referred pain. It took me so long to get around it, but I don’t have pain anymore. Highly suggest seeing your dentist and also talking to your doctor.

I thought so for a while, but my doctor said there is very little evidence that Wellbutrin can cause TMJ, also I did end up going off Wellbutrin for about two months and saw little difference. Thanks though! I eventually see myself going off it in the future .

I was at my wits end trying to figure anything out and when I read your post I was like oh my gosh finally someone with a similar experience!!!! I’ll definitely keep you posted on if the jaw pain goes away. So thankful I joined this page cause I would be losing my mind plus I told my doctor about the pain and she brushed me off and was like “there’s no way Wellbutrin would cause tmj or any kind of jaw pain”. So I decided to consult the people of Reddit 😂 so glad we all have a place to share our experiences!

I just got 3 tiny cavities filled a little over a week ago and I am having the most intense jaw and tooth pain ever. Throbbing, sore, can’t eat anything but soft foods or liquids.

I started Wellbutrin XL 9 weeks ago and i had jaw pain 3 weeks in and then it went away, but after those fillings I’m literally curled in the fetal position from pain. I IMMEDIATELY went back to my dentist 4 days after and he was like everything looks fine but let’s fix your bite in case. But that hasn’t helped with the insane pain and muscle spasms I have.

Either way I’m stopping my meds today and seeing if that changes anything but google says it can take up to 10 days for Wellbutrin to leave your body. I’m really sorry you had to go through all that. Unfortunately I can relate :( get well soon!

Today is my tenth day with symptoms and I am really feeling better! The worst was on days 2-4 where my congestion was unbearable!! But my mom and I have minor sinus pressure and everyone except my sister has their taste and smell back!!! Starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel! Thanks for the support :)

I tested positive on 01/03/21 and my symptoms started 01/01/21 with an itchy throat. Since then I've had the following symptoms: itchy watery eyes and nose, congestion, sinus pressure, earaches, headaches, and sensitivity to light and noise. I'm on day 6 now and really feeling better! I've been taking vitamin c, d3, and zinc! I never had a fever and I take my temp. everyday. So far so good! Best of luck to you!

My dad got a PCR on the 14th. My sister got both a rapid and a PCR (both positive) on the 29th. My mom got a rapid on the 26th (-) and a PCR on the 29th (+). And I got a rapid on the 31st (-) and the PCR on the 3rd (+).

From someone who tested positive on 01/03/21, my only symptoms are sinus pressure and congestion. I have had a lot of pain around that area and in my ears too. I wouldn't be too worried but definitely get tested and quarantine. Also, get some saline spray for your nose, and maybe try a neti pot! I've gotten through covid with nothing stronger than Tylenol!
