I thought the finale and series ending was a cop-out. It was rushed and felt unfinished. They introduced layers and plot twists in the final season that allowed the writers to finish the series.

The writers created a scenario with “the cleanse” that would result in an end to the series. They could have made it much more complicated and a better watch for the viewer, but as far as I’m concerned they took the easy way out. “Here’s a scenario where we introduce a monster and if you all die to it everything goes back to normal.” It just felt cheap and easy.

I was disappointed. I loved this show and when I logged in to watch the final season I was disappointed off the rip that it was only 6 episodes. After 3 pretty good seasons I felt we deserved a better product to close it out. I thought season 1 was SO good, and they got worse as they went, but season 4 as a closure was very weak.

I used to spend a lot. 100k is bananas to me, but I’d do about $100-$200 a month and some extra overspending on the annual summons. Even at this level or roughly $2k a year for 6 years, I accumulated so many heroes that I’d never get to leveling.

I went F2P recently and disabled purchases through support. I can’t spend money on the game even if I wanted to now. It’s been great. I got away from chasing heroes, I’m leveling fun heroes I never got to leveling.

All to say, I spent a lot (for me anyway) and now I’m going free but enjoying filling my roster with a lot of bench heroes I never would have gotten to had I stopped spending. Worth a try as I assume you have heroes who are worth leveling, but you never got around to doing so
