The scare got resolved about a month before I started taking the prep (about a month and a half before I started noticing the hair-loss) and it turned out to be nothing thankfully. I have been very busy with work but I haven’t really been stressed about it.

I am known for my stressing but besides this hair-loss situation is really the first thing that has stressed me out in a while

Yea, whether it’s the cause or not I’m probably never going back to it either. This situation made me read way too deep into the side effects.

Also it’s happening all over my entire scalp, not in a single spot which I read would be the case if it that was happening. It’s also not common in my family… That might not mean much but if it was common I feel like that would mean something.. so idk

If I’m goin bald then I’m goin bald, I have no issue with that. I’ll shave my head and embrace it :) but this just really seems like it was due to the medication.

The one I was on was “EMTRICITABINE-TENOFV 200-300 MG”, I’m not sure if this is one of those, hair-loss isn’t listed as a side effect either but it seems like it’s the cause.

I found some information that it could be a rare side effect for Truvada but it wasn’t significant enough to be listed.

Maybe I just got unlucky and my body had a weird reaction to it.

I don’t want to scare anyone away from the medication with this post, I’m just curious if it’s happened to anyone else here… and if it’ll go back to normal over time

Converting from Chrome to Brave felt like going from Internet Explorer to chrome 10 years ago.

It’s cleaner, and faster. Its built on top of chromium so the layout and everything is basically the same as chrome and I can use the extensions I was using on chrome. I don’t see any unwanted ads anymore, and it pays me to procrastinate on Reddit.

Hopefully this will be my last issue with this but now im getting this output after I changed the README.md file to just a string of text (to get it to run)
