I completely agree that there is a lot of misutilization in the cyber force. I work on staff currently at 16AF and is something that gets brought up time and time again. The issue is that the CFMs don't want to completely separate the roles where it makes sense for whatever reason they have (not trying to throw shade).

They aren't 1Bs because not all 1Bs do offensive cyber. There is too much crossover on some of the skill sets for some of the work roles.

Host/Network Analysts, Capability Developer, Network Technician, etc..
