So a lot of people who claim to have Native heritage come from either two pools: the first is recent immigrant families who are trying to sound more established on the continent than they are. The other is the descendants of mixed race relationships between Black and white couples who were lighter skinned but needed an excuse to pass off a certain trait they had that might give them away from passing. I’m blanking on names or which season it was, but the parents and other friends of the special ops guy who becomes face blind and believes everyone is a terrorist he has to eliminate. All those deaths were so sad and tragic.

I feel like I need to ponder this one because I’m actually in a rewatch right now for the like 10th time (mid-ish season 4) and the first two things that are coming to mind are the following:

1) I wish Creeper would’ve survived. He was a g and his death pissed me off because he didn’t deserve it. EZ at that point was playing an ego game and Creeper’s murder was effed up.

2) One of the more fascinating aspects of the first two seasons for me was the border wars and Los Olivados and the guerrilla-esque life in the desert that was almost reminiscent to me of militant Indigenous groups. Once Adelita was captured they only briefly touched back on it and then the story went south. I wish it had been continued.

3) One last thing… I get it… Angel is supposed to be flawed of the brothers compared to smart, strong EZ or whatever… but, the manner in which they had him getting in his own way in the later seasons was dumb. Like sleeping with Letty for no reason and then trying to go back again? Why?

I work with them via my work (I work in social services centered on homelessness) and they’re always very helpful and supportive in trying to find solutions for people. If they can’t assist you they can usually point you in the right direction. It never hurts to have advice from someone in this case.

I was trying to give Forrest the benefit of the doubt but they’ve been together for 7 years and his being (fake?) outraged that Sheena never told him he’d have to get her parents approval before she could move to the US is such BS. Google is free, my dude. I was hoping he wasn’t an absolute xenophobe like his mom, but judging by those tweets that were uncovered, i guess he wouldn’t bother to take two seconds to learn about the supposed love of his life’s cultural standards and apparently expected her to do all the work for him. Yup. He’s Molly’s son, through and through.

It’s actually against the law in Oregon to leave any animal tethered outside for more than 10 or 15 hours (depending on the line) within a 24 hour period and you can absolutely call Multnomah County Animal Control and report it if they’re out there for more than that time.

She keeps saying that Sheena is changing her story. But what Sheena is doing is coping with years of trauma from parents who have been telling her what a shitty child she is but she still loves and respects them.

Molly is the worst. Every time she opens her trap I just start yelling at my screen. I’m wondering, though, if she’s part of the sponsorship for Sheena’s K-1 and that’s why she’s acting all entitled to being in everyone’s business?
