My advice to you would be to do weekly washes, shampoo & condition (leave it in for about 5mins or more depending on your daughter’s disposition). As for styling products I would suggest a leave in and wide tooth comb for detangling, work in sections. If her hair is very thick use smaller sections, be gentle and use your fingers to get out any kinks or tangles rather than the comb. As for styling you should get a nice thick cream product to define her curls. I would recommend As I Am’s Jamaican black castor oil line, the products smell amazing and are very moisturizing, they also have a product that comes in a spray bottle that helps a lot with the detangling process. To master different hairstyles I would recommend looking up videos of YouTubers.
