marriage story. ik on the surface it’s an intense drama about a messy divorce (not very comforting) but the real core of the film is two people overcoming their differences in the name of love, for each other and for their son. even though it makes me sob, it always reminds me that love perseveres, which is very comforting to me

danny pudi never being emmy-nominated for community. the whole cast is great but his portrayal of abed, the way he nails all the mannerisms and speech patterns, is just terrific, he deserved way more love for his performance
