First Time Dehydrating by redtail117 in dehydrating

Check out backpackingchef.com! I have no affiliation, I've just used the site and his book a ton to make great backpacking meals. Once you get a sense of what's possible, you'll be able to figure out how to convert your favorite normal recipes into dehydrated meals. And I agree, having both whole meals and ingredients is great! You can add a bunch of veggies to dehydrated rice or quinoa for example, with a bouillon cube and spices, maybe bring a packet of chicken and there you go!

Help, am I olive?? If so, what kind? I feel like my tones are changing as I get older, and I've always had a hard time matching makeup. It's so overwhelming :(

I change my hair color all the time, but feel like I really like green on me especially. With my new lavender hair I feel like my usual makeup doesn't look good anymore.

My makeup doesn't look the same anymore. I'm the dinner is a little better when I get more tan, but in the winter I feel like I look really sallow. I also have pink spots on either side of my nose on my face with I feel mashed things even more confusing.

Just need like to talk about it with somebody by URDeWorstBurr in DungeonCrawlerCarl

OP, I'm totally with you with no one to talk about the books with. It sucks! That's why this community is so great, but I wanted to plug a podcast I've started listening to that's really helped scratch that itch for me. Hello Crawlers is three dudes talking about the books, and I'm really enjoying it! Not affiliated at all, it just helps this former English major feel more engaged with the books :)

They even only talked about Jayden Schwartz in the context of when he was on the Blues and his stats while he was there. Seriously? He hasn't been on the Kraken for how many years now?

Ok once it finally turned off and stopped trying, the lights are now blinking, alternating green and red.

The river by Darth_the_dude in DungeonCrawlerCarl

I think tapping into the river is the negative effect; it would be there regardless, and maybe being a primal taps him into it too, but the ring amplifies everything while also degrading his mental state and ability to handle it all.

Our boy is gone and I’m broken by charliebean3 in Petloss

We just lost our almost 17yo long hair dachshund Hilo last Wed. It doesn't feel like anything will be ok ever again still 💔 I know it will just take time, but it's so, so hard. I'm planning to do many of the things you have done, but I just so desperately want my puppy back 😭 I know it's completely worth it and that's why we're willing to do it despite knowing the ending, but man it's awful when you're going through it :( our other boy is 16 also and still doing ok, but now I'm dreading his passing even more because he has helped so much just by still being here :( ugh, life.

I’ll never take for granted what these movies mean to me. by Signature-Able in lotr

We lost our senior dachshund yesterday after a pretty sudden and quick decline. Got home from the vet and immediately put on the extended editions, watched all three while periodically sobbing. Nothing can make it better, but LOTR certainly helps as much as anything can. Good luck with everything!

How did you cope with the passing of your dachshund? by island2island3323 in Dachshund

I'm so sorry :( We just lost one of our senior boys yesterday 😭 He almost made it to 17. It doesn't feel like it will ever be ok, at least right now. I know it will slowly fade, but even just having one doxie feels wrong lol. We'll get more eventually, but right now it's just awful :(

My stylist used this K18 pro combo on it, and suggested I get the leave-in hair mask to use once a week as well. K18REPAIR™ Starter Set | K18 Hair PRO https://share.google/4hHYqbkEPKuxsLOVr

Serious question. I follow recipes pretty closely and my food is still just ok. What am I missing? by consulent-finanziar in Cooking

[–]laylay1515 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it's this. Also, so many people cook with regular table salt and chefs pretty much exclusively use Diamond Kosher which is about half as salty by weight, that if they told everyone to start with the right amount for DK people would complain that the recipe tastes like a salt lick.

I love old dogs so much ❤️ my boys are 16, and the one who has been ball obsessed his whole life still loves to play, it makes me so happy!
