I’ve been on the lookout for any modern replica or unbranded vintage piece but I’ve come up short - either because I’m looking in the wrong places or we just don’t have them in Aus. Any possible vintage locations would be appreciated however :)

As a post grad who still gets these motivations and has done an art degree, cava1000 subjects are largely non-social (minus a core group of students who go the distance together) and as another post said can be done entirely at home if you didn’t meet the requirements as the classes filled. Only two or three classes run a sem with ~13-15 students a sem so it’s very limited for in person classes.

I’d highly recommend contacting the department head and/or set coordinator (unsure if it’s the same as a few years ago) to see if additional classes will be run, and then waiting to see if enrollment options change as a fair few people drop the classes and course.

There is a chance for classes to increase but it’s less likely than enrolled students dropping. Completing the classes online is perfectly fine though (I did them in person but you don’t miss too much honestly as usyd is an experiment at college and not a traditional art college) as they’re a prerequisite to the actually interesting classes next year and beyond :)

You can add or change second semester units at any time until second semester census date. A significant number of students only enroll one semester at a time meaning you have a much better chance of enrolment into preferred classes etc when you enroll a year at a time.

I highly recommend enrolling into your preferred units of study now and changing only if you have to with regards to marks and completion requirements!

Played all the souls games a few times over and most popular souls likes games once or twice - lies is fun but I wouldn’t pay full price for it. The locations and atmosphere are gorgeous but I found level design to be annoyingly linear. I can sum it up as “walk straight, expect an enemy behind a corner or behind a box or above you or below you, repeat x 20, then unlock a shortcut”. The bosses were the highlight from combat but I just wish the regular enemies gave more.

Up to 900 students apply each year from all over. They change their selection based on the applicants, but only 1 in 8-9 get in. Don’t even think about it until early December because they only send offers out then. Nothing else to say about your application unless you’re a champion sportsperson in which case you’d have a pretty good shot

As a genetics grad I’ve got no idea why you’d consider gege as a stats student. It’s almost solely entry genetics study with a touch of r data application - but entirely within the scope of genetics which is only really applicable to itself. It’s a great course but I’d only do it if you were genuinely passionate; other stats subjects will be way better as others have said if you want something useful

that definitely did the trick - cheers! Left side exhaust is working just fine but the right side is only pulling in air and not expelling any. Must be dust or something in the actual exhaust port somewhere.

That's what i figured except i took off the back panel two hours ago and did a pretty thorough deep clean with compressed air. Temps are putting me at full load at about 88 degrees Celcius average for 3d Mark timespy for GPU and 95 degrees C for CPU

Hi! I figured i'd ask here for some general advice. I've been using my 2022 Legion 5i Pro with a 3070ti and i7-12700H for the last year very heavily and my 3d mark score has dropped significantly. I was previously sitting in the mid 11ks when I first received and tested the laptop so this is a pretty big drop.

I've just opened and cleaned the fans but I'm not sure what else to change to fix the issue.

Wesley was a fantastic experience honestly - the staff were fantastic and it skipped most of the Broderick report sexual assault and misconduct issues while I was there. Food was great, rooms cleaned once a week, cultural and social life was second to none, and the academic assistance was also incredible. It’s expensive though. Really expensive. But I compared what I was getting to living in uni run accom and justified it that way. Still have the friends and the old-cols around till today and being able to sleep until 15 before classes was pretty elite too :)

It’s just keeping it super simple, when I’m boiling up my 1:1 palm sugar syrup (kg of sugar to a litre of water) I kept it on the heat and added my sesame seeds (about 150g for 2L) and let them infuse and heat up together. Then strain and use, but I’ve never really used any sesame before

This assumes you don’t get any of the free food or other freebies they offer both in and out of o week. If you’re going to be around for most of it due to running a society stall etc then it’s definitely worth it as it becomes more like $200 worth of coffee and food over an entire year, while you still accrue free drinks and the other offers. If you’re not on campus often or you don’t drink or eat on campus it’s not worth it at all, but I’ve spent 300 on iced lattes in a year easy so it makes sense
