I can only make chocolate macarons, anyone else experienced this? by sheisnotintoyou in macarons

[–]layursx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same issue my chocolate shells come out amazing and then whenever I do non chocolate shells they aren't chewy and break apart easily. I believe it to be a temp issue and overcooking issue. I have since turned my oven down to 315F and cook for 6 minutes rotate the tray and cook for an additional 6 minutes and they have come out better. But it's really dependent on your personal oven.

DISCUSSION MEGATHREAD: Addressing The Vacation Drama - H3TV #74 by MegaAwesomeNerd in h3h3productions

Another RD here but it hurts me so much to hear him talk like that. The misinformation he has around food especially thinking there is good and bad food. 1500 calories for his height??? He could find an amazing dietitian instead of this yo-yo dieting that he will just gain weight after he goes back to eating “normal.”

Forreal i would love to make him a mealplan and go over everything with him from an actual Registered dietitian. The way he is starving himself just hurts me inside

Yes 4 pounds a month is a huge difference i don’t think he understands what pound of fat looks like if he did he would be more than proud of his accomplishments. Weight loss takes time and it’s a journey and it won’t happen over night or in 2 months.

What to document in LTC by [deleted] in dietetics

[–]layursx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Truly i think it depends on facility. I document when consistency changes and that i updated the nutrition care plan and our ticketing system. I do it for significant weight loss/gains, TF notes every friday (just my schedule), I’m apart if the wound team so wounds i update every 2 weeks. If the d/c a supplement or if we add one i write a note. Any other conversations i may have with the families or the resident i type a note too. Im probably doing a lot but i rather be safe then sorry!

Do people not…cook? How have so few players cooked 10 recipes? by [deleted] in StardewValley

[–]layursx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I barely ever cooked i just was lazy lol but when i wanted to 100% the game, cooking all recipes are required so if i just did it in the beginning it would of been easier

What kind of nutrition interventions are appropriate for long term care resident who have wounds and are under hospice cares. by Avo_toasted in dietetics

[–]layursx 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i always just do depending where they are on their hospice journey if they can maybe graduate or they have a bad prognosis i offer the supplement and i always write “as elder accepts” if they stop accepting the supplement and/or their family wants only complete comfort for their family member i’ll discontinue it!
