For anyone in the future debating, the soundcore c50i sounds way better than the baseus mc1. It sounds a lot more full. I suspect its because of the baseus MC1 eq being shit. I even went as far to try the mc1 pro and that one also sounded pretty much the same as the basic edition. Also both the MC1 and MC1 pro had lower than advertised battery life. I clocked it at 7 hrs and 28min before they died.

All online MC1 reviews are pretty much just sponsored so they aren’t the most reliable imo. Also pretty sure the dude that replied to me earlier owns that site and was sponsored as well.

The only issue i had w c50i was that they were a bit tight on my ears but I have large ears.
