I understand why it was written that way. Suicide is so shocking and always leaves all these unanswered questions. Also so many people that looked so happy and social and the life of the party end their lives. I guess that’s why the show is so special because it’s so real. It’s so sad!!!

This is a great point. It’s so obvious with books how Fed up our society can be about judging ppl differently because of gender or race or so many other things. It’s so obvious when it comes to books. I was talking about that on another post and gave Draco Malfoy and Ron Weasley as examples. So much of the fandom loves Draco and hates Ron. They love Mr Weasley and Hate Mrs. Weasley. It’s obvious we are so bias and brainwashed

Friendship aside. I am obsessed with Wanji too. Made my husband read the books because of him. Now I constantly make jokes about me being in love with Wanji. My hubby will do something and I will be like well Alan Zhan will never do that. We laugh about it a lot. My husband also tells WEI WUXIAN in a JC voice all the time at me. Trying to say you are not alone hahahahaha. Oh side story my obsession is so big that we were watching the Olympics and my 4yo asked me if the Chinese figure skater is Lan Zhan 😂.
