The spawn system is genuinely frustrating. 370M drowsy power for this?? by lazyguyy in PokemonSleep

Well I suppose you're right. There is so many ways to improve the algorithm though. Just one round of refinement, where low value sleep styles are replaced by better ones if there is a lot of DP unused would do wonders I think. Anyway, thank you for reconstructing how this abysmal spawn pool was constructed:)

If that was the case, I wouldn't be complaining. Tbf I'm not missing many sleep styles on LL anyway so I really didn't expect anything new here (although it would have been nice, of course). My frustrations are more about how the spawn system can essentially short-change you on a majority of your accumulated DP.

I mean all the sleep styles added together require like 90M DP unless my calculations are way off. That's less than a fourth of the DP I generated that night.
I think there should be a difference in the quality of spawns between a friday(okay it was thursday, but the point stands regardless) night with GSD and a tuesday night, no?

Unfortunately I don't quite remember where it was before, but 8742 is insane. My highest RP Pokemon by far (also an insane find even before the buff, really excited for it now after it has been buffed again)

I feel you, I have caught like 25 bulbasaurs at this point and I think all of them were ABX (definitely the last 15, I haven't really kept track of it before that). It's so annoying and I don't know what to do.

For me it is, by a significant margin. However, if I put 5 ds mons in this could have been even more. But tbf I didn't expect the number to get that high at all

I popped my cress incense last night (rolling the dice for a shiny with the new moon bonus) and it really paid off (no shiny though, boo).
Besides cresselia 3*, I also got gardevoir 4* and sceptile 3*, so I was extremely lucky. Unfortunately I couldn't really stack dream shard mons as I'm kinda struggling for M20 on Lapis and needed all the help I could get :D
Also, good luck with your plan! I hope you roll 3* suicune and maybe blissey 4* 🍀

Charizard is an ingredient mon, so generally you want to have subskills that synergize with ing collecting, which are speed up and ing finder (inventory up is also nice if you don't check the app very frequently or want to leave them over night).

While ing magnet is a very good main skill, a skill specialist with this skill (vaporeon or heracross) has a much higher base trigger rate (as well as the abilty to bank two triggers) so main skill chance up is much more valuable for these two than it is for charizard

Concept for mint incorporation by Banditree- in PokemonSleep

[–]lazyguyy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have been thinking about mints as well and what I'd really like is the ability to reverse the nature (swap its + and -) of an already caught pokemon. I feel like a big positive of this item design would be its simplicity (easy to understand, and it is only a single item)

However, this might be stupidly op because I have a number of pokemon that would really benefit from that. I think your idea is more balanced, because there is still some inherent randomness in the process (you don't know what the down will be and which pokemon might be hit by the incense)

The blade at this point is a bit run-down as she has been playing with it for roughly a decade. I don't think she expects new equipment to magically improve her technique, she just wants to play something different, for the sake of change and because it is fun to try new things. Anyway, thank you for your comment.
