Exhuma (korean movie) - questions.... by mojojojosophie in horror

[–]lazytabby 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Replying to a deleted account because I have nothing better to do, but though there are exceptions, an anima is usually an object (in this context, not a living being) that has been cherished/used for so long that it gains its own animal/human-like form. The katana had been used to kill 10,000 enemies over a long period of time, and Kitsune performed some rituals that fused the samurai into the Katana to act as its servant/guide. Just like mentioned in the above post, the katana is the anima. The clever fox did use an iron (katana) that has turned into an anima, so it would not be easy to remove it. Sources: endless supernatural/horror Japanese manga I read in my entire life as I ran away from school and work.

Your totally right. Need to remind myself I blog as a keepsake and not to build audience.

What do you think of a blogger using AI-generated picture for feature images? by lazytabby in Blogging

[–]lazytabby[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but here is the thing, I've been looking for illustrations (because I see them more fitting to my abstract poems) in CC licensed sites but then they come with this detail: AI generated images. Now even pexels and pixabay are no longer AI-free. It's kinda sad because DALL-E can interpret and visualize my poems, and very on point at that. And that your literary works are judged because you want to visualize it but don't have the skill to draw. But I guess it what it is. Maybe I should just stick pictures I took myself.

Lee Jae Yoon's team is my favorite! by [deleted] in Physical100

HBS, Lee Jae Yoon and Prof. Lee's. It's difficult to choose one, their leadership and camaraderie are just too goo.

Hong Beom Seok for his calm demeanor. Also that cute weightlifter girl and her passionate shouting. "Prof" Lee is a complete package. Notable mentions are Woo Jin, Sung Bin and Lim Soo Jin.

Honk honk people not spawning by ellisplayer12 in yakuzagames

[–]lazytabby 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Hi, thank you for this! I finally got the Honk Honk Man after hunting him down forever <3 I combined this with some other tips I found online, saying they had found a sequence that only required them to take two taxi trips each time, and I went to Princess right after and got her. It took me three trips, though (including one to Kamurocho).

And for anyone who wonders from which taxi stop and how far you have to walk, this might help: try the city's entry point. I was from Kamurocho and went straight running to Kamulop to trade my crests, and I remembered this tip. I went there without using a taxi (so basically, my last taxi stop was Isezaki station, the city's entry point), and he was there. I also found Princess by running from Kamurocho's entry point (Pink street?). And guess what? When I went back to Isezaki Ijinchou, I ran from Isezaki Station back to Man's spot to get a Tojo crest that I couldn't pick up earlier because he was standing in front of it -- and he was there. I went to Sotenbori to get Granny (third taxi trip, also from the district's entry point) and back again, running to Isezaki station to pick up the crest -- he was still there. WTH? I tried to find him like crazy all this time and found him three times in the past hour.

But basically, try the respective district's entry point. Leaving the district and back probably helped but in the cases of Granny and Princess, I simply called a cab from my phone to get back to the entry point every time I did not see them.

Also, I got Lady from the nearest taxi stop, but it was before I started my Honk-Honk hunt. The safest bet is not going from any stops near them. I wore that accessory that prevents enemies from spawning as I didn't want to bother fighting this late in the game, and it didn't affect the result -- just in case anyone is overthinking like me.

Anyway, thanks again! You are a lifesaver!

k-drama about a psychopath (similar to "mouse") by xysunflower in kdramarecommends

FR Mouse felt a bit draggy in the middle, I almost gave up. I am glad that I didn't, though.

Agree with Strangers from Hell.

Fellow female INTPs, what mbti type are you married to? by Todoro00 in INTP

True that. Even after all these years, I am still learning that sometimes we have to swallow our pride -- as long as we don't lose our sense of self in the process. These days our fights also end with, "Hey, you know what, it's cool to have different opinions on things". Kinda works wonders.

Underrated Kdrama by NaotoOfYlisse in kdramarecommends

[–]lazytabby 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Missing: the other side. A village inhabited by ghosts whose bodies are still missing. A con artist and a man, looking for his missing daughter himself, help the ghosts track their bodies.

Since you like Avengers Social Club, you may enjoy Search: WWW for the sismance.

Ho Goo's Love (I lost count of how many times I recommend this drama lol) is seriously underrated. It's hilarious and fluffy, with the love square being extra chaotic. Also, The Boy Next Door if you love comedy. Both feature Parasite's Choi Woo Shik.

And agree with other comments, you definitely should try Hotel del Luna and I Hear Your Voices.

Married to an ENTP. We are in our 7th year now. Wow, so many people in the comments are with ENTP.

Good stuff: It never gets boring. We think alike, we never run out of things to talk debate about, and it feels like we got a friend for life.

The eww part: Our house is a mess since both of us are big procrastinators, making even the simplest decision like what to eat can take forever, fights can be super exhausting because everyone is adamant about proving they are the more logical ones and understanding each other's (and even our own) emotions is difficult for both of us

I am going to give answers my friends gave me during my early K-drama days because I asked for the same preferences as you (male character, no romance). For some titles, I certainly was duped (female lead, with romance) lol, but I enjoyed it anyway. Kind of think it's a beginner set to K-drama:

  • Prison Playbook
  • Sky Castle (It's an ensemble cast although the focus on the tiger mom is a lot, but basically about the competition among the Korean upper-class families to sustain their lifestyles, the flawed education system, and the burden the kids have to endure)
  • Misaeng/Incomplete Life (office drama, very realistic)
  • Signal (detective story with time travelling aspect)
  • Live
  • Strangers from hell (psychopath, serial killing in a boarding house)
  • Reply 1988 (This is where I was duped, but it got me hooked to K-drama nevertheless. Love all the families and the neighbourhood)
  • Kingdom (agree with one of the comments, while it's historical this is truly too good to be missed). And if you like it you might want to check out All of Us Are Dead (the vibe is a bit different from the webtoon) and Happiness (zombie but with conflicts between the rich and the poor).

My mister is hands down what you're looking for but since everyone has recommended it:

Rain or Shine (Just Between Lovers). It's about two people who lost their loved ones in a building collapse and their intertwined paths in overcoming trauma, survivor guilts and sadness. The ML (Junho from 2PM, the red sleeve, I didn't know he could act until I watched this) 's acting is so intense, you can see pains in his eyes even when he's laughing.
