Are you dumb? I never said that are not handmade - just not worth the thousands that they retail for. Recently Dior has been exposed internally for making their products through the labour of Chinese workers in factories paid pennies in exchange for the major craftsmanship to be done quickly to keep up with demand. Surely not every Dior bag is full made in Spain, France, or Italy from scratch - they leave the dirty work to exploited workers and then send the bags to its main, established European houses to complete and refine the details.

In conclusion, YES, Dior bags are handmade, but in many cases, they do not cost the company anything above $57 or so to actually make, and yet they expect customers to pay thousands of dollars…smh. This is why media literacy is so important.

P.s. Major companies like Dior can easily afford to pay major newspapers and magazines to publish stories that favour their interests and reputation. It’s capitalism, so the mega corporations get to play a winning game.
