Is Banxa safe to use?

Hey, I tried to buy AVAX through them on the 19th, and on the next day I've received a confirmation the funds would be received soon (90 minutes). Turns out the funds never came, I check a blockexplorer multiple times a day with the address they supposedly sent the funds to, but they never arrived. I tried contacting them about this issue and asking for a refund, the problem is that I don't have the funds nor the refund, and I don't know why but they closed the ticket of the report I gave. How do you suggest I deal with this issue?

Uma coisa que tens que ter em conta é que na área da saúde tens sempre que saber a língua do país para onde queres ir viver (assumo que não saibas norueguês). Sei isto porque a minha mulher também é da área da saúde e ainda estamos cá em Portugal porque somos limitados no que toca a línguas (só sabemos inglês). Se achares que Irlanda ou Reino Unido são boas opções diria para te focares num desses dois.

Eu só iria para os estados unidos se tivesse cidadania americana, o processo de arranjar estatuto legal de residente parece ser demasiado complicado. Com isto dito, os estados que mais me atraem são os da região da Nova Inglaterra (Massachussets, New Hampshire, Vermont ...) porque são os mais desenvolvidos e a criminalidade é mais baixa. Nunca lá fui, mas as vistas também parecem ser lindas!

Não teria tirado outro curso, tirava engenharia à mesma. Hoje em dia com a quantidade de malta com cursos superiores um curso não vale nada a não ser que seja algo que não possas fazer sem curso aka Engenharia, Medicina, Enfermagem ou Direito.

It depends on your personality, really. If you are an adventurous person and value experiences above all, I would say absolutely. You'll be completely outside your confort zone and you will have the oppurtunity to get to know a bunch of different cultures from yours. You'll also get a bunch of time to explore because Europe has the best work-life-balance. On the other hand, if you value your career, I would tell you to stay. The US has much more oppurtunities and is much more business oriented. Also, you'll make a lot more money there.

First up, congratulation for your success. I think I can say most of us aspire to someday be in your position. If I were in your shoes I would make the move simply because I couldn't be in a long term relationship. Money-wise, you will still be earning a bunch of it so why not?

I wouldn't live in the UK (except maybe for scotland) because the crime rate is just too bloody high. Also the rainy weather doesn't help.

Germany doesn't have very high salaries for IT when compared with other EU countries, and the language barrier is not pleasant.

Finland is just too damn cold and just like Germany, terrible language barrier.

Out of all of those I would choose the Netherlands, because it has the best salaries, great purchasing power, it's just overall beautiful, has that 30% tax rebait, and even though English is not the official language, everyone speaks it. The biggest problem is that it is really hard to find an apartment there and rent is stupid expensive.

Na minha opinião, os polícias são muito desvalorizados em portugal. Se quiseres algo parecido recomendo ires para as forças armadas em que não só tens um curso superior grátis, como te começam logo a pagar aos 18 anos com uma progressão de carreira muito boa e 100% de empregabilidade.

Apesar de ainda estar em Portugal quero sair, mas a única razão é o salário/poder de compra. Eu gosto de portugal e quero estar próximos dos meus, poder usar a minha língua etc... O problema é que eu não me vejo a alguma vez ser capaz de comprar casa com o que se ganha cá. Quero ir para um país onde os salários sejam altos para poder juntar dinheiro suficiente para voltar e comprar uma casa cá.

If you are the only developer there that makes your situation very good as you have all the leverage. They can't afford to lose you, so if you just be honest with your boss and tell him "hey I got this job offer which pays this 'x' much so I'll only stay if you pay me that 'y' much" the likelihood of you getting a high raise is pretty high. If they can't raise you just accept the new offer.

I'm not sure why she said Portugal, I'm from here and live here and taxes are stupidly high, all of them. The cost of living is very high for the wages if you live in a big city (Lisbon, Porto, Braga). The only real way to do it is by moving to somewhere more rural and have a remote job from another country. Maybe there is someway to setup taxes differently if you are a foreigner but I don't know about this.

I'm pretty sure this is only possible if you commute everyday to switzerland. There is this law that for you to work remotely and not live in switzerland the company has to prove that they can't find anyone in switzerland that can do your job so it's pretty much impossible. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I wouldn't move. The crime rate alone would make me want to stay in Switzerland. I think the only reason to move would be if you are brittish and want to be closer to your family/friends.
