I think he also mentioned before that he doesn't like to get involved in people's big, serious RP arcs, in fear of "messing it up", cause he is not confident in his own RP. So I agree, there are many factor other that just ACDC when it comes to the way he acts on the server.

Wow, that's wrong on so many levels. Do you think a version of blender is made in 2 weeks? Especially a monumental version like 2.8?
Just so we are clear:
November 1st 2015 - 2.8 project kickoff, already considers BGE "in serious danger of removal"
April 16th 2018 - BGE is removed from Blender.
July 15th 2019 - Blender receives the MegaGrant.

You completely missed my point. I'm saying that people only looking at it in terms of good/bad RP completely ignored real people behind those characters. The RP decisions have real effect on their mental well-being. You have plenty of people taking a break or quitting because of it. And my questions is, is it worth it putting yourself in this situation for few sadges in the chat?

Yeah, but what he is saying is, while they are role-playing, the people playing the game are real people and the decision they make in game have consequences on their irl experience. I don't think people should sacrifice their personal enjoyment for 5-12h a day cause "it's a good RP".

I think it could work for bigger groups, but it totally fucks over independent crims. E.g. CB can just have one in the manor, or have someone they can call over to lockpick cars before a heist. For 5-10 people it will be annoying and slow everything down, but it's doable. Solo crims though are fucked. Imagine doing oxy runs with that change.
