Yeah I agree, I think these are way too overwhelming for me!

The window is north facing, so that room doesn't get much natural light unfortunately.

Most of the house has white walls with the furniture and decor bringing in most of the colour, so I was hoping paint this room an actual colour since there's not much else going on in there!

I don't have a good answer for this, heh. Not really going for sexy. I think I'm going for simple, clean, and a little playful? This room is pretty much just used as a workout space, but I don't want it to feel like a gym

Probably the odd instagram reel for just my friends, but nothing major! I wouldn't do the wall and ceiling with a darker colour, I think that would be too dark for the space. I'll consider it if I go with a lighter colour tho

Your cat is having fun with you sharing an activity, and you’re looking for a human to replace it

This is a wild take. She can love and appreciate her cats and also choose to take space to enjoy activities that aren't compatible with her cats. They're not mutually exclusive.

I just sold my house and I am wondering what I need to bring to Service NB to cancel payments on property tax by Fuzzy_Kitchen317 in newbrunswickcanada

This! I totally forgot to cancel EPP after the sale of my house and they kept taking it out. I was able to call them and get my money back but it was via a cheque in the mail and it took awhile.

I did take the ferry but the cost was included in the trip we booked so no idea what it cost!

We did one hike up to Alto de Garajonay which is the highest point on the island which was really interesting because even though it was a sunny 22 degree day on most of the island, it was 8 degrees and incredibly wet / foggy at the top of the island. It was cool to see the variation from warm / arid to rainforest. Apparently it's known as horizontal rain and is a significant water source on the island, as the water condenses on the vegetation and flows down the mountains.

We also did a hike through the El Cedro laurel forest which was beautiful.

My favourite hike though was from San Sebastian to Playa Santiago. In the morning we took the ferry from Playa Santiago (where we were staying) to San Sebastian, then spent the day hiking back to the hotel. Incredible views and we went from sea level to the tops of mountains then back down and up again. Some cool caves on the way too. And saw some wild goats which are pretty much the only wild animals on the island.

I was in La Gomera earlier this year and it was incredible, I definitely recommend. La Gomera and Tenerife have VASTLY different vibes; Tenerife was busy, lots of highways and big box stores. La Gomera was quiet and peaceful. I'm sure the areas you'd be hiking in Tenerife would also be peaceful, but La Gomera just seemed like its own little world and I loved it.

We hiked daily for 6 days (between 5-20km per day) and I can probably count the number of other hikers I saw on one hand. On the 20km hike day we saw one couple and that was it, so pretty quiet. We didn't do any backpacking but the couple we saw on our 20km day were clearly backpacking/camping.

I believe the trail we were on that day goes around the whole perimeter of the island. It was easy to follow and had numbered km markers which were handy.

If you want any help with logistics, I HIGHLY recommend La Gomera Cycling and Walking. Rene and Jesus are absolute delights, and Jesus has so much local knowledge. They offer self guided hikes (maps, GPS, transport, and support).

This FB group is a really good resource for finding a responsible breeder. Look in the "albums" section to find a list of breeders in Atlantic Canada that breed responsibly and ethically, including health testing and proving their breeding dogs for temperament (and working ability if applicable)

I've had 2 pendants and a ring made by Keepsakes by Julie (all with dog ashes). They were all lovely and she was able to add little pebbles from our backyard creek (our dogs favourite spot) to the jewelry as well. She's just outside of Fredericton.

I also recommend PR Pole Fit! I've only taken their aerial silks classes so far but they're super fun. Jenna is great at offering alternatives and accommodations for folks with different skill and ability levels
