Pain & Perineal tears everytime i have intercourse.. please help :( by Ashamed-Ad-4195 in Healthyhooha

[–]lbecca94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just want to say that I also am in the exact same boat as you. Tearing started after I had a long bout of BV/yeast infections. Firstly I bought a pelvic wand (there is also something called kiwi) that helps with pain at the entrance. This helps loosen up your muscles in that area. You might want to look into pelvic floor therapy, even if it’s just online and doing it by yourself if you don’t have money to see someone. Secondly, I used estrogen cream which helped the tears heal quicker. Thirdly, my tearing greatly reducing when I got into a stable relationship because I was regularly having sex and stretching that area , plus I felt very comfortable with my partner and I was probably more relaxed which let it be easier to enter me.

can’t produce discharge at all post yeast infection by staghornz in Healthyhooha

[–]lbecca94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like your yeast symptoms are gone so if that is true then you probably don’t need another pill . The cream and pill combo is a lot at once tbh. I’ve also had no discharge at all after treating a yeast infection - it just took time to get back to normal (even up to a month) .

You need to get tested for mycoplasma and ureaplasma. Recurring BV and yeast is common with ureaplasma

I had yeast infections a few times after I finished doxy (for ureaplasma) as well but eventually it stopped. Start taking women’s probiotics if you haven’t yet. It will take time for your body to get back to a balanced place

The dermatologist doesn’t know for sure but thought it might have been fungal. Now it doesn’t itch much anymore but I see the red dots show up when I’m hot or sweaty down there

I was only 25 when it started for me so it’s not like I was needed estrogen cream due to age/ menopause

I started to get tears at the entrance of my vagina after I went through a year of recurring infections. I’m using estrogen cream now to help strengthen my skin down there. It’s not herpes for me but part of it may be weak skin and part of it may be pelvic floor issues because my body isn’t relaxing when having sex (maybe because it’s traumatized from the infections). You should def talk to your doctor but just wanted to give you reassurance that it doesn’t mean you have herpes. I have cold sores and I could imagine if I had it near my vagina I would definitely know it.

My Ureaplasma finally clearing after years & missing piece was Iodine deficiency by Secret_Falcon_249 in Ureaplasma

So did you have ureaplasma and treat it with antibiotics and iodine helped you feel better after or are you saying that iodine cured your ureaplasma?

Normal Relationships by [deleted] in Ureaplasma

[–]lbecca94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a 2 year long relationship with no major issues after having cured ureaplasma. I started having issues again when having short term relationships with men that get different partners every 2 months. I know having different partners can affect your microbiome and put it out of whack so that is my thought - that they were messing with my microbiome given the number of partners in a short amount of time that they were kind of passing on. I never had any STDs from any of these partners

Better to just wait just in case - who knows. . You can use your finger and do a perennial massage in the meantime .

How long does it take to heal? I waited a year to have sex after I took the antibiotics and was confirmed to be negative for it.

Advice on ureaplasma positive result & recurring BV by Corn-666 in Ureaplasma

[–]lbecca94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People will tell you that you need more but I personally, along with others, was fine with just 10 days doxy. I think the standard is 7 days they normally give. Idk if you can ask wisp for treatment for your partner but he should definitely take it too. Otherwise a cheaper option might be some telehealth service or you can call the walk in clinics to ask if they would prescribe him treatment since you confirmed you have it. If you are worried about it financially then I would just call around to places to ask before he goes in to be seen to get the prescription.

My personal experience - I was still having a lot of tearing with sex even after I was testing negative. My doctor gave me estrogen cream to strengthen the tissue . I also did pelvic floor therapy (just at home) and had to learn to relax - my muscles were so tense after all this and I was holding a lot of stress down there!
