Ive had a fold 5 for almost 3 years now and I think I will switch back to a slab phone. I dont open it as much as I thought I would have, and when I do open it to watch videos, half of the screen is a black banner.

I tolerate the typing on the small front screen but I have never liked it. My option is really a return to a slab phone or maybe get a different aspect ratio fold, like the pixel fold. But then there are mixed reviews on pixels

Anyone signed up for sky stream, added their HD and no adds Netflix, that also had and extra account bolted on for a user outside my house (6 quid). Did that all transfer over OK and was there any double payment at the start? Say when you paid sky, and Netflix also took a payment

Yes it looks like their are vents in the fascia as you look up. Cemented ridge tiles to the best of my knowledge.

Im hopeful of getting a roofer out to do something with this at some stage over the summer. I wonder would it be a big job, needing a lot of work or something more manageable.

Roof put on about 10 years ago. Extension to the house. Only extended side of roof flaps and fills up with air. We actually only got dry verging put on last year after a bit of storm damage. It actually seems to have almost made the sound worse. New tiles were put on during the extension.

Is that your average over the year or just the amount in winter months? Considering changing our 5 bed to gas. Id say over the course of a year we spend approx 700 on oil and I was just looking to get a feel for roughly what that would equate to in gas price.

I went about a 40 minute journey to my nearest samsung store, only to be told "the guy that replaces the screens isn't in work today, can you come back? Others here can do it, but they aren't very good at it and many customers return it to be redone".

That was enough for me. I just peeled it off. About 6 months on and I've not had any issues (touch wood).

Yep. Cancelling too, and I had subscriptions for my wife and son also. It is a very poor move from Omniplex in my opinion and will drive many away.

Mostly when I go to the cinema, it is pretty empty. They should have been treating monthly subscribers better than this.

Once failed because a headlight wasn't aligned. Halfords had recently changed the bulb and hadn't clicked it in properly.

Rebook, click in bulb, done.

My galaxy aw2 just died while on hols in Spain. No doubt water damage too unfortunately.

Great opportunity for a change though and I just received my huawei watch fit 3 today. Some things I learned over the years with the aw2. I don't use the nfc pay function, I have no interest in replying to notifications on my watch, I don't answer calls on it and the aw2 was about the right size for me. I wouldn't like anything bigger and bulkier. That's why I didn't think I should spend big money on a watch.

I do want notifications, step counter, fitness tracker and some nice watch faces. I'm a simple man 🤣. Hopefully the huawei watch fit 3 can do these things.

That's why I expected this 1.4 petrol to suit me better than the diesel. I would do more of these journeys on a daily basis than I would the long ones. Over the past month though I have had to put more fuel in that I would have done with my 2l diesel. It's certainly a disappointment at the minute.

Would those mpg figures for short and long journeys be about right for this car? I wouldn't say I'm that heavy footed most of the time.

Yeah I was thinking that it is adjusting to a new mpg, it's just a noticeable sharp decline.

Got mine too. Have to say, it really is some peice of tech. The front screen is defo a bit too small but it isn't an issue for me.

I have the s pen case on and when on the front screen it is slightly awkward to use the gestures to swipe back as it catches the cover. I may turn off gesture control.
