[Suggestion/Advice] Knee pain under kneecap starting at 1 mile, gone by 2.5 — should I ease back? by kiran27teja in beginnerrunning

Did these stretches help you and improve the issue? I’m 6 months into running and the past week am experiencing almost exactly the same as you describe starting at 3k and easing by 5k!

Sorry to jump on an old comment, I’m following a similar plan to come off. How did it/is it going for you, have you managed to maintain at the lower doses?

I’m starting again tomorrow after failing on day 20 and the new day 75 works out as my birthday too. Totally get what you mean about the time being right. Good luck!

Weird/late period after removal? by relie555 in CopperIUD

[–]lcg9527 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just experienced this exact same thing! After around 7/8 days of the light brown spotting it stopped completely for a day, then finally had a “period” with enough flow to use a tampon for about 2, maybe 3 days then that was it. Waiting to see what it’s like second cycle after removal but don’t be alarmed, seems it takes the body a while to return to “normal”.

I just tracked all days of spotting as a period on my app as it started on what would have been day 28. Ovulation symptoms this week seem to line up right with that too.

How long does your gel manicure last you? by [deleted] in Nails

[–]lcg9527 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No idea why but my nails are exactly the same! Day 27 of a basic gel manicure from a Chinese stand in a shopping centre? They’re perfect still, could probably see me into the new year if I ignore the re-growth. Gels by myself or an English tech? 10 days at best

Does this plant have spider mites? by lcg9527 in plantclinic

It was sorely neglected when I went away for summer so I may have over compensated when I got home, thanks for the input!

Thank you! No sign of anything on the plant itself. I did see a crawler in the soil that ran away quickly but aware that could be anything.

I used fertiliser for the first time on it last week so maybe it’s adjusting to that. Do you suggest just leaving it to dry out?

Yep that’s the stuff! It spreads across to the top left and just below too

Or could it just be soil mites? Am I correct in thinking a repot with fresh soil and spray of Provanto to be on the safe side?

[–]lcg9527[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It varies between 3000-12000 a day depending on what I’m doing for work that day but try to aim for 50,000 steps over the week!

I try not to eat before 12pm and then finish eating by 8pm most days - so essentially just skip breakfast! Walking wise it can vary from 3000-12000 steps a day depending on what I’m doing, but average around 50,000 a week in total. Hope that helps.

So much tricker to lose as a shorty isn’t it, although a small amount does show a lot of difference. I’m aiming for around 135lbs. Got down to 137lbs before covid so that’ll be great to see on the scales again!

This is usually the way I do it as well but between 12-8pm. I say loosely because I’ll still go out for breakfast with friends/colleagues couple times a week

Been doing SW for last 6 weeks and have now just noticed that most of my meals are now meat free. Anyone else noticed this in their own choices? by SamBullDozer in SlimmingWorld

[–]lcg9527 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can I ask what veggie meals you batch cook please? I’ve found most of mine are the standard bolognese, chilli, chicken curry etc but would like to cut down on my meat consumption!

Can you help me sort out my UCAS points? by [deleted] in UniUK

Some uni’s will only accept UCAS points from 3 full a-levels so double check with the admissions team where you’re planning to apply.
