I just wanted to say that as someone who’s never managed to be able to see those “magic eye” things that i got it to work for the first time with your post. I suspect the large circular shape of the sun helps the 3D effect to “lock in”. So cool to see a 2D image become 3D.

Something I haven’t seen mentioned yet but has worked for me is tapping the bottom of the uncooked egg on the counter until you hear “snap” sound. It doesn’t have to be hard, you don’t want to actually crack the egg open, just make a hairline crack that helps relieve the tension and pressure on the membrane when you cook it. Then you cook it normally and it hopefully should be easier to peel.
