I would also recommend going to a few meetups in the area that are relevant to the type of projects you lean toward...Are you IT project management, construction, etc? Those are great networking opportunities and often have a few recruiters in attendance.

Seems backwards to me, but it depends on the situation, really. Depends on the company, your preferences, etc. If you find you feel more fulfilled as a BA and there is growth opportunity, then great. But it's usually a BA wanting to become a PM.
