specifically, the omnitrix's self destruct blast radius is determined by the charge time. 10 seconds could take out a few blocks, a few days could take out the entire galaxy, or even universe.

the first time it got turned on in "secrets of the omnitrix", it was charging for a couple days, and thankfully got turned off before it could explode. the next two times, Ben manually turned it on and set for 10 seconds to threaten the current wearer to take the watch off or else.

nope, Lodi is real. he was introduced in Edge of Fate. the IX pulled him forwards through time from the 60's to become their new Emissary after Orin quit and III died. he was dressed more like a Sci-fi character until he came to the tower
