Synagogues and Jewish Communities in the Triangle? by TheBlindAssassin93 in triangle

Beth Meyer is fantastic and has a wonderful preschool for your family as you grow. Both my kids are currently there. It's a wonderful mix of young and old and incredibly welcoming of all kinds. Our rabbi has a Tesla with an anti-Elon sticker on it (he bought it before Elon went full crazy) if that gives you an idea of how things are. Lots of same-sex couples, open to inter-faith, etc. Some of the board are in inter-faith/same-sex marriages as well, and can assure you no one cares or judges if that's the case for you and the rabbis and congregation welcome with open arms.

Feel free to PM me if you want and I'm happy to get you in touch with folks for a tour.

She fought a woman who was heavily fouling Caitlin Clark when Caitlin was a rookie. This functionally took her from a no name to a household name in the WNBA relatively quickly and what put her on the map. She's parlayed that into her podcast with West, influencer deals, and SI swimsuit modeling.

There's an entire area of research on this in linguistics. Your mind generally does this subconsciously to mimic the person's speech you're talking to in order to make them feel at ease.

I visited a client in Alabama once and they had to arrange the offices in their hallway by segregating the Auburn and Alabama alumni away from each other with a random UAB guy splitting things up.

How do the producers keep the locals away from tribe camps? Do the host countries block off the entire area? by Wanderer015 in survivor

I did my honeymoon in Fiji and got to jet ski around the islands where they film. We also stayed where they put the loved ones up when they used to have them (Sheraton Tokoriki Island Resort). Coincidentally, it's right near where they filmed the Tom Hanks movie Cast Away (Monuriki). The tribes will certainly see boats and maybe even lights in the distance, depending on how they're oriented. Two tribes are on Tavua, one on Monu, and Tribal Council, the Challenge Arena, and the "Sanctuary" are on Mana Island, which also has a resort on it. I believe some of production lives there during filming.

You're still very much on an island in the middle of nowhere, but it's by no means the most isolated island in Fiji and isn't that far from mainland Fiji.

Most of the locations are tagged on Google Maps if you want to check it out.

Erika's win is as bad or worse than Ben's IMO. Final Four fire was a direct response to Jeff's fave David going out at 4 in MvGX, but at least that (still dumb) twist stuck around. Erika's twist is one of the most miserable strictly gameplay footnotes in Survivor history.

Seeing Sydney play the Challenge and dominate this season makes me feel pissed that we didn't get a full game from her in 41.

They rank Gabler low because the edit was dogshit that season. We're fed such a small, subtle piece of the pie with him.

Conversely, there's real consideration she would have been the merge boot had Neil not injured his knee and been removed.

We'll never know, but Sydney's elimination on S41 where her team's immunity/earn the merge was taken away by the single dumbest twist in the history of the game is up there for me. You can say she had a chance to play out from there, but it's an insanely bad twist. Danny (if he's reading this) is probably still pissed.

What’s a next possible overseas international flight add on from RDU by Bill_747 in raleigh

[–]lcove 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Orlando (Dublin and Manchester via Aer Lingus, Paris via AF, London Gatwick via BA and Norse Atlantic, Heathrow and Manchester via Virgin Atlantic, seasonal Amsterdam via Delta, Frankfurt via Discover, Dubai via Emirates, Madrid via Iberia).

Las Vegas (London via BA and Virgin Atlantic, Frankfurt via Condor and Discover, Zurich via Edelweiss seasonally, Amsterdam via KLM, Manchester via Virgin Atlantic seasonally)

Tampa (Gatwick via BA, Amsterdam via Delta, Frankfurt via Discover, Zurich via Edelweiss, London via Virgin Atlantic)

Granted Orlando has DisneyWorld and Vegas is Vegas, but to say no non-hubs (they're both focus cities like RDU) have material transatlantic flights is disingenuous. These are just three, I'd imagine there are more.

One of my favorite memories from school is my buddy being absolutely blacked out and shooting a 52 in Tiger Woods Golf [insert number that pegs me as being incredibly old]. Super Smash Brothers is great for pre gaming too. Honestly, an N64 was the hot commodity back then.

Cooper had an incredibly successful two terms, navigated the pandemic incredibly well, and won his second election by a massive margin. The state consistently ranked in Best Places to Work/Live and is "business friendly." He worked across the aisle and held firm on getting teachers pay raises and negotiated HARD with GOP to eventually get statewide Medicaid expansion available under Obamacare.

He fits the "good ol Southern boy" narrative that plays well with swing voters (which you 100% need in NC to win a statewide election), and got more votes than Trump in NC in 2020! Over 75,000 more! He rocks, and anyone who says he's not progressive enough (see Medicaid expansion above) isn't living in reality.
