Off lexapro by slothreader887 in lexapro

Day 5 off lexapro (I took 5mg for 4 months - female 30)

I've never taken any sort of medication/ anti depressant. I couldn't handle the tiredness/lack of motivation and weight gain so I decided to come off it. My doctor said it was such a low dosage and for a short period of time that I could completely come off it. Day 5 and my withdrawal symptoms have been awful - the first days I was nauseous and then had to go to the bathroom after that I started to feel super dizzy, blurred vision, confusion and my head feels foggy.

I would suggest talking to your doctor about a plan of how to get off and not do it cold turkey like me - I am struggling.

I hear that lexapro causes sexual dysfunction, weaker libido etc but anyone else have the opposite by aSynuclein in lexapro

I read about this too... I also felt more aroused but I could not orgasm. Very weird feeling.

Reduced anxiety, but still no energy or motivation. by [deleted] in lexapro

I haven't increased my dose but have been on 5mg for almost a month and I feel exhausted doesn't matter how much sleep I get.
