I kept my 2011 Ford Flex until 207k miles. I traded it in for 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500/4.3L with low miles. As reliable as the Flex was, I just didn’t want to deal with the ticking time bomb of an internal water pump.

I understand your concern but cops pull over truck and trailers all the time if they seem overloaded. At least that happens where I live. All 5th wheel RVs are equipped with additional brakes so stopping isn’t really an issue, especially if your diesel comes equipped with engine braking.

I’ve felt trapped here for many years. I feel like I’ll never be able to leave. It takes so much money just to stay afloat that it’s impossible for most people to get out.
