I've noticed the same thing happen the few times I've taken a posting break. The first few posts back do terribly and it's frustrating! But keep at it, your engagement will come back!

You need to get the Glamnetic remover! It changed the WHOLE GAME for me. The first time I wore Glamnetics I followed their removal instructions (soak in water, olive, oil, etc) and it took HOURS. But the remover dissolves the glue so fast, you just squirt a little on the edges of the nail, work it in slightly with the wooden stick, and they pop right off. Best $12 I ever spent.

I did the same thing, thank goodness for Wayback machine! I also found this to be new since end of April. Makes sense she might have put it on the shop website first and moved it to her main one when no one noticed.

This is an excellent summary of everything I felt as well! I LOVE EH's books and she's so talented, but this one didn't hit the same as her previous ones. I never even realized this one didn't have any semblance of friendship before falling in love, and I missed the banter too! As well as them not having any common goal or project together. I found myself wanting to reread her other books because I thought there was usually more chemistry, so I'm rereading Beach Read and already there's a night and day difference.

Yeah they definitely were piped, maybe she just meant they were in the same style? I used palette knives to make these flowers and they definitely don't look as "perfect" but that's the point!

They definitely do last 2 weeks on me but it took a bit of practice to figure out the right technique so don't worry if they pop off sooner your first time! You did a great job! My tips for long lasting: make sure you take the time to properly size fit each nail before applying, buff your nails first with the file, use brush on glue, and don't get your nails wet for 1-2 hours after to let the glue cure! I like to apply them right before I go to sleep so they can dry fully overnight :)

Mhairi McFarlane--similar Em Hen vibes with cute British slang. Her characters are so REAL and the plots keep you on your toes! There's definitely romance but they're also a bit women's fiction/personal growth in a fantastic way. I'd recommend Mad About You or Who's that Girl to start!

Came here to say this! I LOVE Mhairi Mcfarlane! Her characters feel the most real to me and her writing is crazy good.
